It really depends on what part of Fresno you're commuting to. Fresno is a large city in terms of land. From Kerman to downtown Fresno, it's 20-30 minutes. From Kerman to north Fresno, it would be closer to 45-50 minutes.
If you're more specific, that would help.

Dakota and Blackstone are during commute time? Does it back up bumper to bumper during rush hours? Thanks I was smacking my head for not giving more detail the first time, not at you! I appreciate your information very much.

Okay, I'd put that at about 45 minutes. You would likely take surface streets until you can get on 180 East and then take 180 to 41 North to the Shields exit. Traffic does slow down considerably during commute times, but it's not often that it comes to a full stop. Also, you're doing a reverse commute (south-ish to north) when most people live north and work south. So it's not a bad commute, really. It's just the distance from Kerman to Fresno that will take time, not necessarily traffic.
Hope that helps!

There are a few rush hour clog areas to be aware of.
The intersection of 180 east to 41 north will clog up in the morning traffic, slowing to a crawl. East side residents are trying to merge from 180 onto 41 north to go to Shaw Ave and RiverPark jobs. You have to join with that traffic when coming from the west. Fortunately you will get off at Shields which is the first exit north of Freeway 180 so just stay to the right.
In the afternoon rush hour its the 41/180 and 99/180 interchanges that will cause you some problems. On 180 be sure you have merged to the far left as soon as possible before Highway 99. That way you won't get stuck in the traffic slow down of people trying to get on 99 north and 99 south.
