Default Arroyo Grande

I've read that a lot of retiree's are moving to Arroyo Grande, CA and that it offers a coastal lifestyle and climate without the fog and dampness of being immediately on the coast. Would this be a good place to rent a summer place if you like the beach, hiking, wineries etc? Would like to hear pros and cons about Arroyo Grande for a 70 year old. Thanks

Sure. It's nice. You'll have to drive to some of those things. The ocean is close enough, you can see it from parts of the city, but walking to it may be a bit far. Other than that, do a little research on here. AG has been written about.

Go for it! Very nice area. And yes you will have to drive to some of those places, but it's fun and there is a lot to within half hour each way. You will still get fog...it's the coast. Hope you find a nice place there.
