Oh, there's no question I ran the light. For the record, I NEVER run lights or stop-signs, so please don't think I'm a horrible driver... it was just a slow reaction after a long drive, and one of those d'oh! moments. I did recently get a speeding ticket out in the boonies, but I fully admit to having a lead foot - plus I've only had two tickets in the last 12 or so years (the other being that BS camera ticket from Millbrae).

Anyway, thanks for the advice everyone, and I will check out that link. I actually think it's an ancient camera, or at least an ancient sign... because I lived in that neighborhood 13 years ago, and remember the SAME exact sign being up there. How long does it usually take for them to send those tickets out? *crossing fingers*

I've heard that California is one of the few states where they will actually assess demerit points from camera tickets.

Does anyone know if a California photo ticket will appear on someone's out of state driving record?

I've never seen it flash at 19th and Sloat. OTOH, the one down by SFSU is definitely active.
