Default Southern Cal Music Scene

Hey.

I'm looking for some advice on the Southern California music scene. I can't force myself to live in Los Angeles without being miserable, I'm not too big on San Diego, how is Santa Barbara for the indie/alternative/rock/emo music scene? [No comments about how those genres suck -- it's my choice.] I just need some advice from people who know.. Please and thank you.

Always,
Love.

plenty of that in LA proper. pretty much all the major clubs play that stuff in la(keyclub, troubador, whiskey, etc) and the minor clubs. you'll find that stuff in fullerton and pasadena and stuff as well, where all the young kids congregate
