As for the California ID, you can get that at the Department of Motor Vehichles (DMV). You will need a local address to get one though. Looks just like a drivers license although it has no endorsements of any kind on it. (Endorsements regarding the type and size of car, truck, bus, limo, or motorcycle that you can drive.

LA is a big place with many millions living in the area. Many of them are trying to do the same as you. It is not an easy path to success, but it isn't impossible to get there. When they say you need to pay your dues, for some that doesn't take long. For most it could take your lifetime to make it.

You said you are an RN? If that is the case are you aware what kind of money you can make in California? Starting pay can be plenty to live on your own. With a little bit of work you could be in the low six figures in no time.

Also spelling and punctuation show the world that you can think. Nothing wrong with showing your best side in all situations. Lay off the capitals, I can hear you just fine without them. LOL

I have heard that soon we will be required to show our "papers" when we travel out of state. As much as other states seem to dislike Californios that may be a possibility?
Our Austrian govenator might like to instigate that!
