Default Best place to live in N.Cali???

We were gonna move to Stockton because we have family there but i have heard alot of bad things about that city so now I am trying to find a good city that is close to there. With a good job market??? Can anybody help?

It's true that there are a few seedy areas but I wouldn't dismiss Stockton altogether. There are many nice areas such as the northwest section around Ben Holt Dr and March Ln off I-5. Stockton does have a high rate of foreclosures so you might find some housing that is cheap.

Livermore is not that far away, but pretty pricey. I lived in Manteca and Livermore. I loved both, but moved away because I just could not afford it after my husband died.
