I grew up in Orange County and we would spend our summers in Palm Springs. I remember we always passed the two dinosaurs on the side of the road and we always stopped at a place called Hadley's to pick up fresh fruits and veggies.
Also was it Denny's that had the kids menu that you could make into a face mask?

We were at Hadley's about 3 years ago and it has changed so much, what a disappointment. For years my mother in law lived in Desert Hot Springs so Hadley's was a must both coming and going.
Now it is more of an overpriced tourist trap. They didn't have nearly the choice nor the prices that were attractive. I am not sure we bought anything. I had planned on taking some things to my husband's cousin in Phoenix as he remembered Hadley's from when my mother in law shipped them dates at Christmas.

That's too bad, I loved Hadley's. I remember it as a kind of a big organic produce market. I don't remember the last time I was there but it's been close to 10 years ago.!!!!!!!!

We'd get those in Pearblossom (Charlie Browns) after a trip to Big Bear or skiing in Wrightwood.

Welcome to CHARLIE BROWN FARMS at www.charliebrownfarms.com
I haven't been through there since the mid 1980s when I worked for Cal Dept Water Resources on the aquaducts.
