I had that danged jingle running in my head after thinking about the competing Worthington commercials from the same period (early 80s).

I do remember the restuarant. I lived near Slauson and Crenshaw and attended Dorsey High School. My dad was killed at Pearl Harbor and my mom took me there on special occasions.

sorry about your dad. Too many died in Pearl Harbor. Let's hope we never forget, just like lets hope no one ever forgets 9/11.

This got me to thinking...
Does anyone else remember the drainpipe covers (I'm not really sure what to call them) in the L.A. River, around the Glendale/Griffith Park area? They were painted to look like cats back in the '70s.
