Default EBay ex-CEO Whitman plans run for California governor... Does anybody else find this "funny"?

Apparently the ex-CEO of Ebay wants to be California's next Governor.

You mean... will she almost win the election with 5,032,027 votes before getting into a last minute bidding war and narrowly loosing by 1 vote with just 2 seconds to go?

Or when you donate to her campaign will you get a message that the "reserve is not yet met"?

Something like that?

But in all seriousness, she seems like a valid pick.

Its not unusual at all for business executives with no prior political experience to run for governor.

Someone is just going to snipe the seat at the last second and steal the auction away from her. Damn auction snipers.

Why is it funny? She was unquestionably one of the most successful businesspersons in one of California's key industries!

No funnier than the mayor of SF Gavin Newsom or Ex-gov Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown wanting to run. All-in-all it will be an interesting election!!!!
