Magalia, CA elementary schools. Which one to pick? (Paradise: school district, live in)

We are moving to Magalia in the summer. But I need to register my kids in a elementary school now. Which school is the best one? The district website says it is a district of choice...meaning as long as there is room...I can chose which school my kids go to. Want to make the right choice and do it before they fill up. Kids are 5, 7, 10.

I live in Magalia and all our kids went throught the system here. Magalia schools are in Paradise unified school district. There are two elementary schools is Magalia, Pines elementary and Cedarwood, one middle school, Mountian Ridge it is right next to Pines elementary. We were happy with the schools in Magalia. There is only one high school and that is in Paradise. I would say it has the normal high school problems. It's been a while since kids were there, but they were good then and I don't hear anything bad. Let me know if you have any questions about the are.

Thanks to both of you. I did some research on line and then talked to relatives who live there. It looks like cedarwood school would be best. Small, personal, and has better ratings than Pines.
