Default Most undervalued coastal cities in california

Hi! Just wondering if we could make a list of the most undervalued coastal cities in cali.
I know the Merced areas are undervalued - but cali is either beach or desert, and its no fun living in the desert.
Cali is fun for the beach, and the weather. Otherwise, might as well move elsewhere..considering the higher taxes that are paid..

Just a hunch by looking at the extreme price declines around that area..

Well, maybe I exaggerated :-) Theres a lot more, the skiing and the mountains, the rivers..
Personal preference, I like the beach, and the weather is always a wee bit better near the ocean as its moderated - not too hot, not too cold..

Guess I should have said I like the beach instead of this comment..

The most undervalued coastal cities...are in Oregon.

Since when is Merced a coastal city?

And a map. Merced isn't a coastal city.

Who says there's any undervalued coastal cities? Less expensive coastal cities would be well north of San Francisco but given the local economy, or lack thereof, I would hesitate to call them undervalued. Anything in a populated area, near jobs, that isn't a slum is still very overpriced relative to incomes.

For the lowest prices try the far north coast but the economy has been crap for 30 years up there with high crime. The central coast (north of Santa Barbara) can be fairly reasonably priced but its so rural there are no jobs. Ventura might offer the best value to quality of living (I.E. actually have a job) but it isn't exactly a dynamic town.
