Default Claremont medical care

Have been reading some nice things about Claremont. How is the medical situation there? Is there a good hospital nearby and if so, how is it accessed? Is a freeway trip necessary? Are there general physicians and dentists in town?
Thank you.

Claremont is a very nice area. Some really great neighborhoods. My parents still have several elderly friends who have lived there for several decades. For really serious medical stuff (elective) you'd probably want to make the drive to Loma Linda University Medical Center (215/10 area) since it's one of the better hospitals in the country.

For emergency care, Pomona Valley Hospital is 3-4 miles away, but I have no data on their quality, sorry.

Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center is very close by. There are also other clinics/practices around that area. I used to volunteer at PVHMC and found the staff easy to work with and accommodating. No actual experience with doctors however.
