Default Lake Isabella/kernville Race and same-sex couples

I am a hetero-sexual man and not racially bigotted, however I am considering buying retirement property there and read an awful lot on these topics in the Kern Valley Sun. Any local views would be helpful.

Thanks for the input, I drive thru there from time to time and camp. Lots of inexpensive land. I also am an avid motorcyclist and have toured there. I liked the hilly remote areas , Onyx, Weldon Wofford hills and Kernville seems progressive, younger crowd. Do the meth heads cause problems like theiving. Are you a local? I live in the coastal mountains east of Arcata, cali.

I don't care for Isabella to much but I like Kernville, I ride up there all the time and have never had a problem. I have two friends that live there and they like it.

I've just spenta bit of time there, buddy had some duplexes I would repair for him.
Had a girlfriend there for years.
We were driving home from a steak house and found a brand new toyota truck on it's back like a turtle. Keys still in it, headlights on and beer cans everywhere. We looked around in case the driver had crawled away for help, our guess was he ran and called it in stolen.

Default Thanks guys

You gotta understand how nice it is to visit the desert when you live in the rain forest. The winter is the time to leave and dry out ..lol I live to ride and being able to cruise in a t-shirt in the heat is good. I am considering having a low-key desert spot in either the Kern basin or Joshua tree. Each place has pretty affordable land. I appreciate the input from you all. The site here is HUGE, so much info covering the WORLD
