Question Who else thinks San Joaquin County is a nice area?

I'm fully aware San Joaquin County has problems, the worst being Stockton, but does anyone think the county itself (the farm land, etc) is nice? Driving from town to town in this county has a country feel to it and parts have cows, sheep, horses, etc. It's one of the positive things about the county. Your opinions.

My brother lives in Manteca and when I want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the bay area I go to his house and relax. I love Manteca. Lots of people say it's boring but I say to each his own. I like it and my son loves to go there too. My brother have a swimming pool and he likes to go swimming, we could never have a pool here because we are too close to the water and it only gets hot a few weeks out of the year.

A Bit flat for my tastes, but otherwise it probably has as much going for it as any other central valley area.

Is Tracy in San Joaquin county? I like all the crops\ orchards in the county that remind me of where I was born [Fresno] & raised [Chico].
