Yorba Linda and Chino Hills are both excellent cities. Yorba Linda was ranked by CNN as the 21st best place in the US to live in 2005, while Chino Hills was ranked 68th on the same list. They are off CNN's list of 2009 though.

That kinda proves the point I made a minute ago. These lists mean almost nothing. Actually I have seen them change over a period of 6 months.

well, 6 months later i'm about tired of the town i live in anyway.... time to move to the new town that made the list. just kidding.

yorba and chino hills are about the same. you might want to consider property tax. I'm not sure if chino hills is san bernardino county or not, but Yorba is in Orange county. not sure if the property tax is similar, but i'd definitely check it out, could make a large difference in that price range.

but then again, if you're buying a house in that range, you probably dont worry about little things like property tax.
