work and renting in apple vally area

we will be moving back , origianaly from LA and thinking og Apple Vally. Is it hard to find a good place to rent in the area and work? My hub welds.. I tried to do some research on the net but thought some here might know if it is hard to find work and rent around that area, or even pinion hills,,TIA
also the schools, they seem to be good, anyone know??
