minam is on a distinguished road
Default Salinas Valley in the 1930s

i've tried searching everywhere but i cant seem to find any statistics on salinas valley during the 1930s. i just wanted to know the population and employement opportunities of that time.

That's an interesting question. To be fair, I have no idea, but you're post makes me want to go back and re-read Of Mice and Men. I tried to do some research, but came up with little (virtually everybody wanted to talk about Steinbeck, and not actual unemployment numbers, etc.). I would recommend you email/call the city of Salinas itself, as I'm sure they could put you in contact with the appropriate folks.
