California Legislators
I read yesterday that legislators introduced legislation potentially totaling $213.5 BILLION annually.
This proves our legislators are so out of touch with what is going on. Did they not pay attention to the election.
I guess those of us that hoped things would get better and the spending would stop are living in LaLa land.

We need to vote these guys out of office. The bigg problem is that everyone wants the other legislature members tossed and not our own. My thought is that we the people of the State of California get together and vote for only those individuals that will curb spending, cut programs, eliminate jobs, change the business climate, and reduce regulations. We can change this state. It is possible to save this state, but to do that we need to have a change in who is running things. The majority of our legislatures are tax and spend liberals. What we need is to have someone willing to run from each district that will present real change in the legislative process. Individuals that will not spent more than we have.

Actually we will be better served with mainly moderates.
We need to elect people who can compromise and find a middle ground, not those from the extreme ends of the political spectrum.
If moderates do not exist within the current parties, then we need to find some political leaders willing to start a new party in California, one that is made up of both moderate liberals and moderate conservatives.

Right now I think it doesn't matter what a person calls themselves(republican, democrat, independent, liberatarian, or greenie) we need them all to quit spending. They all should give up their special programs. I do agree with voting them all out. I am not voting for one incumbant. If we vote new ones in and they introduce costly legislation, then they don't get another chance. I just hate to see them all get lifetime retirement. That's mostly why I've voted for the incumbant, is we can only afford so many retirements
