Default Good Fishing Spots in California

Outside of the ocean, what are some good fishing lakes, rivers, streams and creeks throughout the state of California? Please post website links and pics if available.

The Burney area has some of the best trout fishing in the state. We have lake Britton that has small mouth bass. We also have Baum Lake that is open all year long for fishing that is full of trout, We have the Pit river, Hat creek and cassel. We are located in northren Califorinia. We also have Mcarthur state park, that offers fishing and you can visit the beautiful water fall. This area offers a lot. It really is worth comming and checking out. I do not know web sites off hand, but I'm sure you can google any of it and get lot's of info.

Check the fishing reports on the sports pages at newspaper websites. They'll give you an idea of what success people find in different areas.

Here are a couple to get you started

Lake Casitas and Lake Castaic are 2 of the best for trophy Largemouth Bass. Been to both and enjoy Casitas more.
