It's hard to know something that isn't true.
FresnoFacts already corrected you, as Cabrillo had Drake beat by 37 years (see: the statue of Cabrillo at Point Loma in San Diego).
The CA school system taught us CA history in 4th grade, it was actually quite intensive.

2000 census, 0.7 percent of Stocktonians claim Spaniard, Spanish or Spanish American background. 3.3 percent claims "Not elsewhere classified" as their type of Hispanic background. 27.4 percent claim Mexican. It is unknown how many would consider themselves Mestizo, since that is something that is not tallied. Not to mention, some Mexicans wouldn't even consider themselves Mestizo.
So the answer to your question is really unknown. I would say that at least half are first or second-generation immigrants, and then split the smaller half between multi-generational immigrants and multi-generational Californians. Maybe something like 60/30/10. But, I'm just speculating here, and don't claim to know for sure.
