Default 3 dead, 7 injured in Pico Rivera drive by shootings

3 killed in drive-by at motorcycle fundraiser - CNN.com
Just read this brief article on CNN, Random act of violence or is Pico Rivera full of violent crime?
Horrible, horrible news but any responses would be great.

Pico Rivera has never been the epitemy of safety and good family living. Or at least I don't remember it being a place where most of us would want to raise a family.

Used to be two separate railroad towns, Pico and Rivera. They merged as one in 1958.

Native Americans think Pico Rivera is where the world began.

If that was the case it would be no wonder the world's in such a mess.

One of the victims has been to Iraq five times (Navy). Nice to know that Iraq can be a safe haven compared to Pico Rivera. Bring our troops home and have them police our OWN cities.
