This is all part of the master plan to send all of our Republicans to Texas...looks like it is working.

This can go back and forth and I'm not up for taking the bait. The entire US economy is in trouble and not just CA. When CA takes a big nose dive others will feel it too. I've never been one for spending and have been critical of CA government and you might know this from my previous posts. Red/Blue and in between we are all in this together.

Yet nearly all the states with the lowest quality of life rankings such as crime, obesity, educational attainment, income, poverty, etc.. are republican controlled. Coincidence? I think not

Yes, but California was borrowing against its future earnings long before the economy went down. California was a house of cards and it was prone to the slightest bump in the economy. States that actually saved for a rainy day are doing alright. California never saves it just spends like a drunken sailor, a drunken sailor with an unlimited credit limit which is even worse.

Texas is doing quite well right now, no denying that. I don't know about Alabama or Georgia, maybe someone can help me out. Mississippi has two Republican Senators but 3/4 of its reps are Democrats. Arkansas is Democrat controlled, lol. They also have issues with high taxation. Florida is kind of a half and half mix currently but is more business friendly than California. The Miami area has always had problems with crime but Florida is a beautiful state. South Carolina has been hit hard by the automotive troubles. Arizona kicks ass so I don't know what you are talking about there.

Are you just naming off states and assuming they have a low quality of life there? Republican states suck because they don't tax people to death and don't have free handouts for everyone?

Interesting how you come up with excuses so quickly to defend these states but just write all of CA's problems off as being entirely the fault of democrats. Talk about a double standard and HYPOCRISY. And it's not just about representatives but how these states vote too.

I am not talking about TAXES or the economy, I am talking about quality of life issues such as crime, education, health, etc.. get it? Not everything revolves around taxes and money except in some people's minds.

Go look up lists of the least educated states, states with the most poverty, states with the highest illiteracy, states with the most obese people, states with the most crime, states with highest teen pregnancy rates, states with the least amount of uninsured people (TX is #1 there btw), median income, etc... Then maybe that will give you a better picture of type of what states rank where.

Yes Arizona kicks ass as being rated the "dumbest state" in America as well as some of the highest crime. Yes you obviously do not know what I am talking about here, not a surprise though either.

I don't even buy into that crap that states are this or that b/c they are blue/democrat or red/republican. But I was just pointing out how BS it is to blame everything wrong with CA on democrats but conveniently ignore all of the glaring problems other states controlled by republicans or that are solidly red/conservative have b/c its fits your narrow point of view.
