I'm sorry, but you have no idea what you're talking about.

Please, let the adults here handle the issues with our government.

Ben Gifford 2012... he has my vote

If he's a fiscal conservative he could get my vote. If he's a social conservative, he will not get my vote.

No, I think its you who dont quite grasp the situation at hand. Conservative leaders have proven themselves to be corporate pawn, religio-fascist hypocrites who put America behind their own self interests and/or the interests of those who back them. Sure dems do that too I suppose, but you all take the cake. Actually you baked it, decorated it and then took it.

At this point, we need a break from you and your ilk. Give us 30 years to recuperate.

Please.

Red states are the poorest. Blue states are the richest. I think I'll cast my lot with people who actually are successful. Thanks.

More info from his Myspace: MySpace.com Blogs - Ben Gifford US Senate12 MySpace Blog

He is obviously very tough against illegal immigration, and he doesn't like Diane Feinstein. That's about all I got.

Although we can see the kind of people he attracts; Palin fans, cowboy hats and religious people...I am leaning more towards no. Why is that conservative republicans always attract a certain type of people and not a broad range of people? IMO, he is falling into the current Republican party outline, which will soon be a chalk line drawn around the parties death.

Nah. You're clearly too angry and bitter to like anybody.

(If liberals are this hateful when they win, just wait'll they lose....)

Blue states are bankrupt and Texas is currently the most successful state in the Union. Try again, kid!

Austin is already blue, isn't that where the smart people are?

Don't make us break out the maps with the statistics, red states are behind blue states in almost every department. Sure Texas is attracting business right now, which is also going to bring in a lot of smart libs from the blue states.

So how long does Texas stay a red state, with all the smart libs moving in? That's the question.

Unless the Republican Party changes their platform, there's no way I'll support them. From injecting God and religion into a large part of their platform, to condemning homosexuality, to wanting to teach creationism alongside evolution - no thanks. Economies rise and fall under both Republicans and Democrats. It's the social issues that matter most to me.

Nah. Austin's where the freaks and government employees are. There's a reason people there drive around with bumper stickers reading "Keep Austin weird". It's a nice town, though; much nicer than, say, Los Angeles.

By all means, break out the maps with the statistics. Liberals can't make coherent arguments without visual aids anyway, and I can use a good laugh.

How did Texas become such a powerhouse when it's always been such an overwhelmingly red state? Why would so many smart libs be moving out of their blue-state paradises in the first place? Better bring on those visual aids; you're already failing to make sense.

Don't get me wrong, though. I'm sure Texans welcome all the "smart libs" who care to move in; they know there aren't enough of them to have any serious impact.
