Default Will I ever get my state tax refund?
Moved out of California in 2008.

For the First time EVER, We are receiving a refund (a sizable refund to boot) for 2008. When do you think we will receive it?...ever?

We filed our taxes in April of this year.

Got a letter a while back that said basically, "The state is processing our refund. If we do not receive it by May , we will be earning interest.

I am NOT being sarcastic. I am just really wondering.

Well, my guess nothing will happen until the budget is passed. Typically that doesn't happen until August/September.
