Oh yeah I'm sure after they have tanked the state, they are going to give up fees from law abiding citizens.

There are few things more useless than an online petition.

I really don't know why we need to register every year. Why not register every other year, or have the option to register for multiple years. Lets say when you buy your car you get a choice of paying up to 4 years at a time. A new car doesn't have to get smogged for the 1st four years anyway. Why write a check every year for that? My thougts are that you register in advance and only register again when you are required to. If you sell before the time is up include the registration cost in the sale price.

SOON2BNSURPRISE, couldn't agree with you more and sure hope they change the yearly registration before we move to Ventura Co. Even here in the Philippines, in many ways behind the times, we can now register for up to 3 years, everyone I know likes it.

It dont hurt to sign the petition. The state takes in billons of dollars per yr but our state govt grossly over spends. Why should we pay for their stupidity & ignorance.

Because you demand all of the services to prop up your very generous welfare state.

Come to Texas .. my car registration fees were $58

However it is 106 degrees which keeps the Riff Raff out.
