Bye-Bye Nummi? I guess they will send it over to China!
That Nummi thing is a crime, They were producing Toyota Tacomas and closed it because Pontiac went Belly Up. The people handling the GM Bankruptcy should be fired.

I agree, but their next performance review isn't until 2012.

Yeah............but Californians will keep on electing the same old crew. The districts are so gerrymandered that the incompetent, I mean incumbent, always win!

Took this from the Atlanta Thread:

Animation studio a Bright Idea

Animation studio a bright idea - Atlanta Business Chronicle:

Film and television company Bright Ideas Entertainment LLC will build Georgia’s largest animation studio and add 350 jobs as part of a $20 million expansion.

Georgia is a great state. Extremely bright future for those folks who take those jobs.

Did you know while CA may not be able to cover it's borrowing costs, GA has the lowest costs for it's population?

A smart smart choice to leave for that state.

I've been giving more thought these days. Are there places in GA where the weather is tolerable in the summer? I realize that it won't be CA weather. Just don't want to be inside all day.

The weather is not that bad in GA. Most people go out late afternoon and on during the summer time. The humidity is better IMO than straight heat. There is a stickyness in the air as opposed to straight heat which is GREAT for the skin. For the most part it rains sometimes twice during the day to cool things off in the summer months. The thunder storms are just so beautiful. There is plenty of shade in GA with all the trees too. But unless you live somewhere near Savannah you'll have to live with the heat which isn't all that bad. It is not like you have straights months or weeks of intolerable heat. You get use to it. The winters are really short and nice in Atlanta too.

I prefer heat/humidity to long, cold periods. But my wife may not agree. We'll have to visit the area to see for ourselves.
