uh....what?

Cali born and raised, TYVM. Have you no respect for Biggie? I suppose not.

Oh well. Your opinion is your own and that's cool. However; you are wrong and you are giving others the wrong impression.

People under 30 call this lovable land Cali with a smile in our hearts. I once moved away for 6 months and on the plane ride back I had B.I.G. stuck in my head..."I'm goin, goin...back, back...to Cali, Cali."

Again, it's cool that you have that opinion, however; your assessment is incorrect.

We do say "Cali" and "dude" and we pronounce it "Mountain Dyeewwww". Don't be mad at it....embrace it, BRAH!

much love...

I say Cali sometimes, I have friends from California that never corrected me, but their pretty easy going. Although one time I said San Fran, and they said OMG never say that when you go there, people HATE that! So I learned something that day.

Next time I talk to them I'll keep saying Cali and see how long it takes them to crack.

Yes, and some people rudely pass gas in elevators, but that doesn't make it right. The old, "well I do it, so that makes it ok".

Perhaps you are "Ohio girl"?

Now please pass the horse doovers

Ok, this thread is pointless and it's filling your minds with falsehoods. I'm not sure Calix even likes his fellow Californians.

I personally never say San Fran, I call it "the city" but I've heard it called San Fran about a billion times.

Call it Cali if you wish, it's totally dadgum acceptable. Sheesh. Movin on with my life. Future readers....just know, I'm right.

Hey guys, smile! The cows are happy, why can't you be?

Biggie was from New York, though; if he were from here, he'd NEVER have referred to it as "Cali."

My daughter says "Cali" all the time, as do her friends. Sure, they're in junior high, but it's not it's an out-of-state yokel thing.

Cali: Meh, whatever.
The OC: Please don't.
The IE: OK, now I'm really not listening.

"The IE" makes sense, as it's an abbreviated actual phrase. "The OC" is just flat annoying. Who says "I'm moving to the Orange County"? Morons do.
