What is the quickest route? All maps still show via Golden gate Bridge and Hwy 101, just curious for an early afternoon arrival Wed for vacation

That would be the quickest way, it's not a short drive with the traffic. You will hit rush hour it starts around 1 PM

City Boy is right. You would really want to try leaving the airport by no later than 1:30. Any later than that and you're in for a long grind up to Rohnert Park.

From the airport, you'd want to take I-380 to I-280 going north, then get in one of the three left lanes for Highway 1 North to the Golden Gate Bridge. Avoid taking 101 the whole way through San Francisco, and also avoid staying on 280 when it splits off to the right from northbound Highway 1 just as you're entering San Francisco.
