I am looking for general opinions and I do not want to lead with questions.
But here is what I am looking for from someone who owns there, lives there or in the area and knows about the place.

What would you want to know before you bought there.
What do you think people should know before buying there.
Are there better values in the general area.

Is California Pines the same place some guy on Channel 5 (or 9, or 11 or 13 or some other independent LA station) would pitch to retirees during afternoon programming back in the 1970s?

Welcome to California Pines
$25,000 to own a lot near Erik Estrada's. Lots that are further away are exponentially more expensive, till, when you're at a safe distance, the prices skyrocket and are unaffordable for virtually everyone.

Might have been. I also recall hard sell pitches for lovely California City, the home of the $35,000 3BR 2BA house. That's 35k in 2009, not 1969.
