As of 10/14/09 the foul, horrid, corrupt, greedy, public union owned ca legislature has a all time low approval rating of 13%. Govenor arnolds approval rating is 27%. Five years ago it was 70%. Those law crazy thieves in sacramento should all take a one way flight (coach) to Afganistan. Ill be the first to chip in money to make this a reality. These bums have ruined the once great state of ca. Lets put the illegal alians & utility company boards of directors on that plane as well. OK!

You'd have to include the majority of the sheeple who continue to re-elect the same losers over and over again and when their time in the Legislature runs out, elect their family members and friends.

If the day ever comes that the electorate begins to vote the person and the issues rather than their party, you might see some changes.

Touché. This is a rock solid, impenetrable summation of the state of affairs if I've ever seen one.

Have you considered leaving the state? I've never seen you say anything positive about California, yet you continue to live here.

This amazes me every year. The people just do not understand this.

If you give me 25k ill move out of state by dec. The only positive thing about ca is the mild winters. I do like some areas of ca. Im just saying that the legislature have ruined ca & i do let them know that. Im not the type of person to give in & walk away. Maybe the desert heat has distorted you.

Not at all. I'm quite happy in California, and for the most part, I agree with the decisions made by the Legislature. I think it's the referendum system that has caused most of the problems, not the legislators. Allowing the voters to make huge decisions on budgets makes no sense. The vast majority have no idea of what they're really voting for.

Yes, but I am afraid that will happen only, as they used to say " At crack of doom!"
