Must be why the Dodgers game was packed at 1PM on a Friday? Have to wonder where people are coughing up those $50 and up ticket prices too?

NFL stadiums have been packed too. Hopefully, our numbers keep trending down.

Down? Your UE rates are coming down? Said LA is at 14%!!! That's only 3% less than us! Looks like Irvine is doing well though.

Irvine has a lot of high tech and specialty types of jobs. It hasn't been hit quite as hard as the blue collar, less skilled areas of employment.

The highest incorporated city in September in California was the city of Westmorland (not Mendota) down in Imperial County at 40.7%. Although some small unincorporated communities elsewhere were even higher, like French Camp in San Joaquin County at 47.7%.
The worse county in September was Imperial County in the southern end of the state at 30.1% followed by Yuba County north of Sacramento at 17.8%.
Mendota was "only" 36.3% in September in a total work force of about 4600 people. Unfortunately the lack of water for farming in that area this year did not create a lot of new jobs so the rate did not drop much with seasonal work.
