If you tried to move it stuff would break.

Besides, if you decide to put it in two places, they would never have a quorum.

well what i meant was that if california was brand new, where do you think the capitol should have been placed. i only said two because some people might be indecisive

It should stay where it is. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there---again.

Interestingly enough, when California first became a state, the capital was San Jose. It was moved to Sacramento some years later.

Why move it? If it aint broke don't fix it! To move it somewhere else would require a mind boggling amount of red tape and would probably bankrupt the state. What would be the point of moving it anyway?
