Default Corona- Pounding Noise @ about 10:30?

Who heard a loud pounding noise this morning about 10:30? It lasted about 10-15 seconds with shorter repetitions a few minutes later.

I heard it around Sixth St. and Pomona, someone else I know heard it at Foothill and Rimpau and a third heard it at Corydon in Norco.

Did anyone else hear it? Any idea what it was?

I heard it in Corona and I heard from my friend that her school called a disaster drill alarm because of it. What was it?

Default Not a Bomb but a boom

It could have been a blast from the local mining operations in town, even though I've lived in Corona for over 50 years and not experienced one that sounded like that.

A co-worker says the Corona PD is saying the noise was the SWAT team training with explosives. If that's true, it sounded like pretty powerful explosives to me.

If that's the case, I'd say they need more training.
