Default Need a Helping Humboldt Hand

We've enjoyed the Fortuna/Ferndale area but is it perpetually damp there like further up the coast? And did last year's flooding effect this part of the state?

We are moving and are open to any suggestions in this general area. Thanks.

I think it's pretty similar in Fortuna to Eureka but usually a few degrees warmer in Fortuna. The feel of the towns are much different though. But weather-wise, they are similar, not exactly the same.

ferndale and fortuna are beautiful. ferndale is a little bit colder, being on the lost coast, but fortuna is also beautiful by the redwoods. fortuna has a bigger town atmosphere than ferndale. but both very nice. i would say ferndale is more pretty tho
