i love california, born and raised. i moved from marin county, in northern california to maui, hawaii. california was expensive...but not that bad, really. lets see, i am 27, i worked in the food and beverage industry, i made enough money to pay rent in marin, go out, enjoy myself. i guess it all depends on what you want to do.....
marin is great, you can find some really nice people and great deals. you are close enough to the city if you want to go out, close to beaches, although they are never that warm (maui is hot).....i loved it there, i cant wait to come back for a visit.
