Default auto insurance in ca

it is the law to carry valid auto insurance in ca.if you drop your insurance or miss a payment to the insurance company they rush to notify the dmv.shortly therafter you will receive a letter from the dmv telling you your registration is suspended & if you want it to be valid again you must get auto insurance & go to the dmv with a 14.00 fee.so far they have informed over 100,000 people.yrs back the dmv charged 300.00 for every newly registered car in ca.they got taken to court by a lawyer who just moved to ca from out of state.the dmv had to pay back millions.the dmv is corrupt and not to be trusted.
