Default What area is seeing the most commercial construction

We are considering a move to CA. My husband is in commercial construction, just curious what areas are seeing the most growth as far as new building...

The same areas that have seen the most new housing developments, such as Temecula. The residential goes up first, then the commercial (retail and office) follow in the newly parceled and zoned area. But currently there is a lull in both, as there is a glut of house and office building inventory in these built-up areas.

Also, it's the largest development companies that have built the majority of these new commercial buildings, and I don't know how they hire.

Your husband might do some research on the web and look at commercial real estate sites such as Loopnet to source what builders are where. Then contact those builders to see if they are hiring in the area you are looking at moving to.
