But this is predicated on the assumption that the OP cares about schools. Since his username ends with "91", it's a fair guess that he's 19 years old and most likely childless. So, San Clemente, Oceanside, Temecula.
Or that he's 91 inches tall, which would make him 7 feet, 7 inches. Damn! Carrillo, you're tall!

OH, If he is really that young he might like Oceanside then. The end near Carlsbad is nicer.

I guess you'd have a point if people didn't need jobs so that they could pay bills, and stuff.

Isn't the location you live in called City Terrace (not City Terrence)?

Temecula is hotter. Also, it's harder to get to.
My hubby, son, and DIL used to drive the Oretaga, but I never would. Hated it.

One sort of good thing about Oceanside is a person could work in North San Diego and in an emergency commute to Orange County.

As for schools, yes Oceanside schools don't look too hot. Would Carlsbad count as Oceanside (for the intentions of the original poster)? It's schools look a lot better.
I don't know if people realize this, but every building that is not a residence is a place of work. I know I know, I'm a genius

But seriously, I've always been amazed by the myth that there are no jobs in Temecula. If you are a rocket scientist or computer engineer I'll agree. If you work in retail, pharmacist, doctor, nurse, dentist, mechanic, electrician, or any one of a gazillion other jobs then there is probably a job nearby for you. The combined population of Temecula and Murrieta is over 200K. I guess by SoCal standards that is small, but 200K people require a lot of local businesses. It's not like everyone drives to San Diego to go shopping, see an attorney, visit the doctor, see their CPA, hire someone to fix the AC, etc.

The myth was created by people who originally worked and lived in places like San Diego who subsequently decided to buy a home in Temecula for $$$ reasons. I was one of them.

IMHO, Temecula has one of the best "bang for the buck" values in all of SoCal. It's a really nice place, especially for families. Yes, you can find nicer places, but you'll pay a lot more.

Caraway I definitely agree that Temecula is the best bag for your buck. I liked living there but I hated my quality of life commuting and night life, so I am in OC now. Temecula is not accessible for everyone's career field
