I was thinking about moving to LA. But killer bees are making me think twice. Are killer bees a serious threat to California?

Yes, there are clouds of killer bees that have made several parts of LA uninhabitable. ;-)

I lived 34 years in LA county and never saw even one killer bee. I saw plenty of the regular honey bees but they pretty much keep to themselves. To my knowledge I have not heard of a problem in LA or the surrounding areas. I think I would be more fearful of the two legged critters roaming the streets!! There are plenty of them!!!!

Yes, the wandering zombies are much more dangerous.

Ha! Ha! They do remind me of zombies....from a movie. But they are not on every corner....well not in most areas!! And they never kept me from going places. I was only pointing out there are more of those "zombies" then killer bees in LA!!

Yes. I am an entertainer. I do perform a lot outside. It would be discussing for a swarm of killer bees to ruin a kid's party.

Bwahahaha... you just made me almost spit juice all over my keyboard!

If it means anything.... the news recently reported that most of the killer bees in California are in the desert communities.

I've lived here all my life and I don't concern myself with things like that.

There might be a slight problem in Palm Springs area, since there is a dry desert like area there, all in all, LA is not swarming with killer bees. It may be covered in SMOG, but if you can deal with that, not to mention the horrific traffic and high crime rate, then venture to LA!

Default They're here

Killer bees are in Southern CA. You hear of attacks from time to time. They've made it to Los Angeles County and possibly farther north.
