Why would you even WANT to see something like that? I think the fact that a person was killed gives you a pretty good idea of what you're likely to see. What benefit could you possibly derive from seeing a person's mangled body?

You've said that several times. It seems obvious that your motivations are several: 1) shock value; 2) drama (false outrage and even more false empathy); and, 3) discredit law enforcement.

Your ghoulish delight in this is all too obvious with the repitition and the posting of links to an event that happened four years ago. You fool no one except, perhaps, your fellow sickies who wanted the link given to them.

Damn right! I tried to rep you, but ... you know the drill. On a related note - you should see the "rep" this sicko left me because I voiced my concern over his obsession with underage girls and this particular case.

You are absolutely correct in this statement. It is obvious this person has an axe to grind with law enforcement.

First off, the title of this thread is totally misleading. The court hasn't done anything; it merely overturned a lower courts ruling, dismissing the law suit. Its not over with yet. The appeals court can still throw out the lawsuit.

Second, if you read what actually occurred the persons named in the suit and who released the photos were NOT police officers. They are listed as dispatch supervisors, which are civilian employees. I can gurantee some dispatch supervisor didn't go out to the crash scene and conduct a fatal traffic accident investigation, which could take many hours onscene, then spend the next one to two weeks completing the report, diagrams, etc.

Third, the backlash should be against the persons who sent the family and made the bogus Myspace (or whatever) accounts and sent them to the family. Why aren't those persons being put down, slammed, etc? Why are they not being sued? Simple: They don't have any money and the state does; so deep pockets rule once again.

Finally, why isn't there any backlash on the driver of this car to begin with (oh I know this is going to be unpopular)? If she wasn't driving way above her head, in car she obviously couldn't handle, there would be no issue to begin with. Not too mention, why would the parents let her drive such a car, which is obviously built for speed, when she couldn't handle such a car?

I'm not letting whomever at the CHP released the photos. They were wrong; however, there is plenty of blame to go around here.
