I have a friend thats in the Navy reserves & was fired from his civilian job last year. He's currently recieving unemployment. He got a letter in the mail regarding that they need his correct last employer info and last date worked before he can claim and recieve benefits. Why would they need that if he already submitted that info the first time? Does he need to record his drill pay on the claim form if he's just getting paid for one weekend a month? In California? He hasnt been reporting that on his claim form.

He should come clean before they penalize him. Penalty is 10 weeks unemployment with no check.
