Since when did Satan become a God let alone anything more than centuries worth of bad publicity for Pan?

Yep, which is why we have a separation of church and state.

Although apparently Ms Whitman never received the memo on that....

"The reason that I voted 'yes' on Prop. 8 was that civil unions provide virtually all the rights and remedies to gay and lesbian couples that marriage does, and my personal point of view is that the definition of 'marriage' is a religious term that should be between and man and a woman." And why she voted to have that "religious definition" written into state law.

'Been a loooooooooooong time since California experienced that. Loose spending and lack of regard for control has certainly not helped California.

And maybe her Ebay empire management skills will have more effect than her predecessors. Sounds stupid, I know, but considering her predecessors, she may be "the one" with the balls. That's what you need now.

Not if she can't even stand up to the Prison Unions (among others)....

Transfer prisoners to other states???? Brown has always been a goon.

I don't know about other states but Oregon has the not-in-my-backyard mentality about prisons, even if funding is available. Thus, jails and prisons are over-crowded, too, releasing convicts out into the streets. We don't have space for another state's criminals, and such a move would really do damage in California's reputation/relationship with other states.

Yeah, I'd say she'd need to grow a pair if she hasn't already.
