I find "Ory-gun" just as (expletives) as California. In certain ways, maybe even worse.

25 years ago, some friends of mine moved up to Yamhill County from OC. Their neighbor wouldn't let her kids play with their kids because they were from California.

Ahhhh, Ory-gun!

Their neighbors probably aren't natives, either. Wouldn't suprise me. Some transplants (California or otherwise) seem to think that others won't follow with the same idea.

Still, in spite of its flaws, I still want to return to California, although right now I have mixed feelings. Too long of a story, though.

Meg's attack campaign rolls on....While still working on 59 reasons not to vote for Steve Poizner, Meg doesn't want to leave out even the real dark horses in the race. So, here we go!

Mohammad Arif

Laura Wells

That is about like us when we moved from Ca to No Va several years ago. One mother didn't want her daughter dating our son because we were from So Ca. She was sure he drove a VW bus and sold pot on the school grounds during football games or something. I had forgotten all about that until right now.

It's crazy, the close-mindedness. People who wouldn't think of acting like that towards someone of a different race (I assume) have no problem doing it to someone because of what state they're from.

Way to stick together, America.
