I just lived in Irvine not other cities. People are so mean and their base is untrusty wirh new people 100% opposite the canada. If you have been in Canada , never feel you are not in your country and their believe is trusting all people.

I think the weather in California induces a change in perspective and it's a great place to become completely self-absorbed. An elevated sense of clarity results, and the state presents an endless array of opportunities.

This notion is an old, worn out saw.

Re-los from my parents' generation (Silents and Boomers) were the archetypes of this notion.

If I were a re-lo (or wanna be re-lo) today I probably would not be looking at California. It's the New Rust Belt. Unemployment up in the Michigan zone.
