Question Chula Vista, CA

Chula Vista, CA. Tell me. Is it a Perfect Town to eat, sleep, anything, because I don't know anything about it. I need to know.

Are you taking a vacation there? Moving? I don't get the point of this thread.

As mentioned, try posting in the San Diego forum and tell us exactly what you might want to be doing in Chula Vista. I'll go ahead and provide a bit for you now:

I've lived in Chula Vista twice during my years in the SD area. CV is a nice city overall. Most of it lack the congestion seen in SD in places. That's about all I can tell you without knowing more.

How are you going to be getting around while here? Chula Vista is nice but it is almost entirely residential with shopping including strip malls and one small mall. Most of what you would be doing, if you are doing the tourist type things will not be in Chula Vista.

You can travel by trolley if you're near Broadway and I5 and get into downtown SD from which you can basically get anywhere. If you're coming to see San Diego, check out some of the other hotels in San Diego that will have you more centrally located.

Ok, but which Hotels do you recommend (if you know any)?

Hotel Circle is in Mission Valley. A full 15 Minutes from Chula Vista which the original poster was asking about.

As mentioned before, Chula Vista is more of a residential and strip mall city. There aren't many large hotel buildings, but plenty of motels. Just look up some places on travelocity, expedia and traveladvisor to see what's available and reviews.
