Yeah, well you try wearing a Confederate flag t-shirt in "certain parts" of Philly, or one with a picture of Malcom X while you're in rural Alabama. Then report back to us about all this "free country" stuff.... especially the part about "doesn't matter who is offended" by it"!

Hey, I was being asked about whether I would be offended by it. Can't speak for other peoples "feelings" or responses. But should they be allowed to wear it? Yes.

Are you offended if students of Mexican heritage celebrate Cinco de Mayo by wearing clothes that reflect their heritage?

Actually schools have been granted plenty of leeway, in a legal sense, when it comes to clothing rules and being able to make their own determinations to keep the kids from using tee shirts, etc to harass and intimidate, offend or otherwise disrupt. It's a safety issue that trumps any dress code. Free country to a point, like everything else.

Didn't trump it in this case. District is backing the students who were sent home.

Yes. Its an attitude of "Entitlement." Not good. Like you said, I couldn't imagine going to another country and behaving this way. But then our government has been perpetuating it as seeing all minorities as "victims."
You were describing Mexicans wearing Mexican attire as "not good", representing a sense of "entitlement". Obviously, you are offended by them, and obviously you are lying when you claim you are not offended.

No I was describing Mexican students who were angry at U.S. citizens who chose to wear red, white and blue.

And quit calling me a "liar."
