Are people REALLY jealous of California? (San Diego, Berkeley: credit, employment, where to live)

We just love to show you the truth about your overrated state and all the smug people involved. I just don't see why cali people are so obsessed with their below average state? What is it that you are so infatuated with? The traffic? Crowded streets? non English speakers? or horrible beaches?

I lived in Hawaii for 7 years, everything about that state was nicer and the people were less smug. Just seems to me that you folks have some sort of deuchebag obligation to live up to when you become a resident.

Show what? That living in Ohio is so boring that you have to come to state sub forums on CD to troll about living in certain places? Dude, you have far too much time on your hands that you are wasting. Go spend that time with family or in exercising.

Highest income, gas, and sales tax in the nation and constantly wanting to increase taxes more. Plus this stupid Democrat Cap & Trade that cost us all another 15 cents or more foe each and every gallon of gas and for absolutely nothing.
Schools that are nearly 100% immigrants and they don't pay enough taxes to even start tp pay their share of the costs. Public employee unions workers with their unbelevable pay, pensions, retire way earlier than those not in their gravy train, and health care for life. You and me are paying for them to live their rich life.

As a native Californian, I feel that some are jealous while others are just straight ignorant about California. I'm from the LA Harbor Area myself. Now that I'm out of the state, I will say this. I'm jealous of the weather, climate, Mexican food, and the beaches. But one thing I am not jealous of is the RENT because it's too DAMN high!

Yeah, I know I could move to the desert or suburbs, but gas is too damn high to commute and I probably couldn't get a job that paid enough to justify living there.
