I know generally about class A, B, & C, but now I am seeing B+ and even Premium C Class on some and even a Mini A. I figure some are made up by dealer but B+ seems to be real and twice I saw Mini A listed at two different dealers. Is there someplace that explains all these things in laymens speak or can someone tell me what is what & what is real?

The different classes were formed based on the type of frame or chassis the vehicle was designed on and that still holds true today.

Class A rides on a special manufactured chassis and/or bus frame

Class B sits on a standard or converted van chassis

Class C sits on a modified van or truck chassis with a cab over design

Yes you now have super C's and B+'s etc out in the market place, these are built to offer more luxury in mind, often times more luxury means more weight added to the unit so addition support must be designed to/around the frame.

So the bottom line is, all kind of fancy terms may be used to describe a unit but it still comes down to the type of frame the RV is built on......Once you decide what type of unit you like then you start looking into things like the CCC of the unit, the floor plans etc to narrrow down your choices
