If it's in decent condition, that sounds like a fair price. Prowlers weren't the highest quality -- none of the Fleetwood 5ers were, and Prowlers were a few steps down from Fleetwood's best, but if it's not leaking, not badly worn/abused and all systems work, it should go fairly quickly at that price.

We sold our bumper hitch just recently. It was a 2008 and in new condition. It was hard to find someone that wanted to pay book value. I think now it is a buyers market because of the gas prices.

Just from last yeat our 5er (Montana) has gone in value tremendously. When we went to the RV show to look at the new ones we couldn't get a decent price for our in trade in. Up until this year that wasn't a problem but this is the year we wanted to trade in for a new Montana. Well, maybe nest year.

My 2 cents is look at NADA price that is what the registry uses in MA to determine tax value but it is pretty close to actual. A 5r w/ out slide 10yrs old $7500 might be high. When listed make sure it is washed, clean w/ no smells inside. List all the extra's, electric stabilizers, awning, bed # it can sleep etc... A family just starting to camp will probably be your market.
