I find that I like AWD for some applications. Towing with a FWD vehicles makes me itch.
Now, the Dodge tradesman van, their full size van, is front wheeled drive. It looks like my next work vehicle will be Ford Transit van. Looking on the Ford website I cannot tell if its front or rear wheeled drive. If Wikipedia is right, it will be rear wheeled drive.

I participate on another forum which forbids people from making new threads unless they can't find a relevant thread in which to post. It means we drag up threads 3,5,10 years old on a routine basis. I see no problem with that if the topic is the same.

Hello, I've towed my 2370 lb 1999 Honda Civic HX with a ton of stuff in it and my minivan with a lot of stuff in it, - and I lived in my minivan for 1 year... I guess the weight of the Honda was around 2900 lbs while the minivan had about a 450 lb load.
My 4th Gen Dodge Grand Caravan SXT is a special tow package edition that will tow 3800 lbs. So it will gladly tow a very lightweight AL trailer. Oh, but those are costly!
But, I took a 51 day vacation to Manila, and I am coming back soon. So I can't reply often!!!
RE: I dry camped in my Rialta while doing cross country trip for 4 months, I never ran low on fresh water. -- OF COURSE, YOU ALWYS HAD TO REFILL WITH WATER, UNLESS YOU TOOK SHOWERS SOMEWHERE ELSE !!!
